LATTERIA MONTELLO S.p.A. seeks to satisfy the requirements of and to improve constantly the effectiveness of the Quality and Environmental Management System adopted. In particular, the company is committed to:
taking account of the needs and expectations of customers and supplying them with reliable products/services that comply with their order specifications and the applicable regulations, paying particular attention to product safety, environmental protection and hygiene conditions
developing skills via the appropriate education and training of personnel
supplying appropriate resources for the achievement and maintenance of established objectives
producing safe products that comply with order specifications and compulsory regulations, with particular reference to product health and safety
guaranteeing, by maintaining certification of conformity with standard UNI-EN-ISO-9001, the application of work and control methodologies that comply with established standards
complying with the 8 social requirements envisaged in SA8000, published in 1997 by the Council on Economic Priorities Accreditation Agency (CEPAA), now SAI, regarding child labour, forced labour, occupational safety and health, freedom of association, right to collective bargaining, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours, remuneration
making available sufficient, relevant resources in order to satisfy requirements relating to the products
pursuing action to minimise the consumption of natural resources, via careful monitoring and the adoption of resource recycling techniques and applicable new technologies, in order to achieve the best possible level of environmental sustainability
maintaining constantly the efficiency and productivity of equipment and production methods, in order to reduce the related environmental impact
improving and reducing the environmental impact associated with productive activities
preventing pollution by using suitable environmental technologies
purchasing materials that are as safe as possible, giving preference to the purchase of products with the lowest environmental impact that is compatible with both corporate and customer requirements
complying constantly with the laws, regulations and obligations established by the competent authorities on environmental matters, and continuing the long-established practice of receiving the recommendations made by competent international bodies, understanding them and implementing the resulting measures early, whenever possible
training employees properly in order to give concrete application to the provisions of standard UNI EN ISO 14001
improving the awareness of executives and managers involved at various levels in the production and filtering processes, so that the entire organisation follows the criteria required by adoption of the environmental management system
involving external operators
increasing knowledge of and promoting together the certified Environmental Management System, in the context of its commercialisation and distribution activities
involving the entire organisation in achievement of the established environmental objectives
