Savoy cabbage rolls with Nonno Nanni lactose free Robiola and onion
4 large leaves of Savoy cabbage
180 g of Nonno Nanni lactose free Robiola
1 medium-sized red onion
nutmeg
salt
pepper
extra virgin olive oil as needed.
Nonno Nanni Lactose Free Robiola is a fresh, tasty cheese designed to meet the needs of those who are lactose intolerant.
Method
Bring the salted water to a boil in a pot. Place the Savoy cabbage leaves in the water and cook for about two minutes. In the meantime, prepare a bowl of iced water. Drain the Savoy cabbage leaves and immediately immerse them in the cold water. Transfer them to a sieve and allow to drain well, then place them on a clean cloth. Delicately dry with kitchen roll.
Preheat oven to 180°.
Finely dice the onion and fry in a pan with a little oil.
Leave the onion to cool, then mix into the lactose free Robiola in a bowl. Flavour with salt and pepper and a little nutmeg.
Spoon a little of the filling onto each Savoy cabbage leaf then roll up and fold down the edges. Transfer the rolls to a tray covered with a sheet of baking paper. Drizzle over a little oil and bake for 10-15 minutes in the oven.
