Big Croutons with sausage and Stracchino
4 slices of stale homemade bread
1 fresh sausage
150 gr of Nonno Nanni Stracchino
Nonno Nanni Stracchino is a fresh, soft cheese with a unique flavour
Method
Halve homemade bread slices in order to obtain 8 croutons.
Peel sausage and add, inside a small bowl, Stracchino: work it well until getting a well-blended mixture.
Then spread the mixture on crouton and lay them on a baking tray covered with greaseproof paper.
Heat oven to 200° and, when hot, bake croutons for about 10 minutes so that bread becomes crisp and the mixture of sausage and Stracchino will slightly melt while baking. Once they are ready, croutons are great if eaten warm.
